元はYMOの「SERVICE」に収められた曲（作詞は坂本龍一、ピーター・バラカン、作曲は坂本龍一）。
「Everyday.」が続く詩は、アーティストの河原温の作品に影響を受けているそうです。
淡々とした毎日を紡ぐような坂本のボーカルとピアノは、今聴くと切なく美しい。
窓を開ける、歯を磨く、新聞を読むと同じように、彼は毎日ピアノを弾いていたのかなと想像しました。
私であれば絵を描くことになるかと思いますが、これを読んでいるあなたは毎日していることはありますか？
しかし、私たちの日常は病気や家族の煩わしいこと、または災害や戦争などによって妨げられます。
そしてある日、終わりが来ることが決まっています。それは遠近法の消失点のようです。
The song was originally included in YMO's 'SERVICE' (lyrics by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Peter Barakan, music by Ryuichi Sakamoto).
The poem, which begins with 'Everyday, was influenced by the work of artist On Kawara.
Sakamoto's vocals and piano, which weave through the unremarkable everyday, are wistful and beautiful to listen to now.
